MLM Lead Generation via Article Marketing?

Short answer is – ABSOLUTELY.  Now let me tell you why.

No online business can survive without constant MLM lead generation plan of sorts and any business can use free lead generation specifically.

Well, that’s exactly what you’ve got here.

Article marketing is a very powerful tool that will definitely generate tons of targeted traffic to your website.

It’s free, easy, and it works.

There are two keys to successful MLM lead generation through article marketing:

You have to produce good content (great would be even better) and optimize your articles for search engines (or else nobody will ever find and read them).

Here are some tips on how to write a good article:

1. Choose the right topic. I know it sounds so evident and self-explanatory, but you’d be surprised how many marketers get this part wrong.  Write about something people are actually interested in!

Do your research.  Have a purpose in mind.  What is your audience? Why would they want to read your article? What is the action you want your readers to take after reading your article?

Provide benefit.  After you write the article, ask yourself “So what?”  If you can answer the question, it means you succeeded in providing information that will actually benefit your readers – the whole point of article marketing to begin with.

Try to sell something in your article, and you will turn away your potential customers.  Provide value and you will reap free MLM lead generation benefits for months to come – that’s right, with a single article!

2. Write about something you know a great deal about and you will save yourself a great deal of time and frustration.

3.  The best length for an article is 500 words.  Write less and many article directories will turn you down.  Write more and you are greatly minimizing the pool of your potential readers – who has the time to read these days anyway!

4.  Along with being useful, your article needs to generate curiosity, but be incomplete. Remember, the purpose of your article is to have your reader come to your MLM lead generation capture page or your blog.  Your article should give them a taste of the topic and send them to find more at your actual website, giving you a chance to capture their contact information and put them into your marketing pipeline.

5.  Although your article should never be about selling anything, your resource box at the end of the article should do just that: sell your reader on taking action.  Give them the reason to click on your link.  Tell them what they’ll get when they do that.

Keep in mind though that hype does not equal action.  Keep it real.

Now, on a different note:

How many article should you write to see your MLM lead generation go up?

Easy: the more traffic you want to your website, the more articles you need to write.  Of course, any is better than none.  Even if you write 1 article per week and submit each to only 5 major directories, that is 1 article X 52 weeks X 5 directories = 260 new links to your website per year to help your SEO – PLUS think of all the FREE traffic and leads you will generate.

Set a goal for your article writing: I recommend starting with 2 per week.

Remember, MLM lead generation through article marketing can seem slow at first, but it WILL pick up with time and with the amount of articles you write and submit to directories.

This is the method of MLM lead generation that keeps on giving, so get to work!
