High Google ranking is something that any business owners aspire (or should aspire) to have. Here is a simple way to improve it.
We’ve known for a while now that Google uses speech to text conversion. That means that they take the SPOKEN text from your videos and convert it to written text.
While they didn’t comment on why they do it, the answer is obvious: this is yet another way for Google to determine whether your audio and video content is relevant. Using audio text conversion helps them categorize and rank your video.
So what does it mean to us in practical terms?
This gives you an opportunity to improve your website Google ranking by simply adding relevant keywords to your audios or videos. If you simply use background music for your written text, it obviously won’t work the same way.
So follow the same keyword rules like you would when writing articles (read YourNetBiz system tips on that topic): use your main keywords in the beginning, the end and a few times throughout your video. Don’t overdo it; remember – your main target audience is still your readers, not search engines!
Write your video/audio script just as if you were writing a web page that you wanted Google to index, because with their speech to text conversion, they are applying the same algorithms as if it were written text.
